Fia Fia

This year in Fia Fia I am in the Niuean group. Sometimes we learn some dance moves. We always go to our Fia Fia  group at 2 o’clock every Thursday to practice our dance moves.

Mrs Lagitupu teaches the girls how to do the Niuean dance.  Miss Lavakula teaches the boys how to do the haka and the hopo .

We always perform on the  gigantic stage. We always sit down on the ground and wait until it is our turn. When we going to perform on the gigantic stage we wait until it is our turn. When we are  performing on the gigantic stage it is a lot of fun.

Sketchup

Sketchup is a tool that allows you to create anything. It is a design programme. Students can use it to create things. You can use it on your netbook or your ipad. You can design 3D objects.

 

Sketchup is special, because you can create anything in 3D and print it out if you have a 3D printer. Sometimes  you need to use the internet to use Sketchup. Some lucky students in my class can use Sketchup on their netbook.

On Sketchup I created a car and Anthony helped me to design it.

Dear Parent

Thank you for coming down to  the school picnic with class 2. If you hadn’t come, Class 2 would not have gone to the picnic. It is important to have parents at the picnic to keep an eye on the kids because we can get into mischief. My favorite part of the day was playing with my friends.

What is a netbook and how is it used?

 What is a netbook and how is it used?

A netbook is a learning tool for work. All the Year 4 to year 8 kids have a netbook to use. Netbooks are better than using books.

You can use it for Maths Whizz. You can use it for blogging. Kids like to go on Gmail, Youtube and music.     

I like my netbook because I get to do fun stuff on it.

Empathy

To me empathy means looking out for one another. Empathy is when my friend hurts his leg and it makes me feel sad. Empathy means when you help your friend. Empathy  means friendship.

Empathy is when my brother gets on detention and I know how he feels. He probably feels sad and angry. I have felt like this too.

My Christma

On christmas day I wake up and have breakfast.Then I wait for my mum until she wakes up. When she wakes up she tells us when to open our presents up.When we open our presents sometimes we get new shoes.Then we go to my nana and papa’s house.At my nana’s house we alwas have a nice christmas dinner.I always have fun on Christmas Day.

In the morning when I woke up it was dark and I heard the rain falling on the roof.When I went to look outside it was cold.When I was putting my uniform on it was cold too.Then I went to school and when I got to school I  was wet.At school I saw puddles of water on the court.
