Fia Fia

Last Night at 6:00pm we had to go to our changing room to get ready for our performance. I wore lavalava, a sisi and black face paint. Then  we went down the corridor door and out the library.

When we went outside, we saw a lot of people. The performance I liked the most was the Cook Island drums. The thing I did not enjoy was that we had to sit on the ground for a long time.

When we were almost about to perform I felt kind of nervous. In our performance we did a haka and the girls dance. When it was happening it

Creepy story

Paragraph 1: Once upon a time there was a creepy scary boy who lived in a haunted house. He died in his own house and he is the spirit who keeps his house safe. Who ever walked past his house they must die.

When this man walked across his house he came so quick and dragged him in the house, the man was  yelling as loud as he could, HELP,HELP.

But Know one would hear him. All the man could  see was a boy who was a ghost his house was a mental hospital.

The boy had something in him and he thought it was the devil. In 1988 when he was a normal kid he went to the park to play and suddenly he saw something.

It quickly went in him and he started to feel like he was going to faint so he ran home and told his family that something was wrong but the didn't believe him.

So the next day early in the morning he killed his family. and when theses mentalist people came to check him and take him to mental hospital.

Finally when they got there he was checked by an expert he was and exorcism man who checks if the devil is in him and he was.

the boy was scared.

Movie in the park

On Friday at Pt England reserve we got to watch a movie and it was called ‘Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2’. When we were watching the movie we were eating chocolate during the movie. It started at 8:30 pm.

I was watching the with Jordan, peh so and Jonson. It was a little bit cool and funny. When the movie was finish I went back home with my brother.

Sport at Tamaki College

Every Friday we have sport at Tamaki College. We do lots of fun stuff like rope jump, relays, amazing race, orienteering and high jump. We have good teachers. We have two student teachers in each team.

These things help you lose weight and get more energy in your body. It helps you to participate. Some kids from Pt England School have siblings sisters at Tamaki College for groups. Tamaki College is located in Glen Innes.

We have 7 groups and we have 12 or 10 per group. Each group does different activities than us. Every Friday it changes every time we go there for PE.

It’s fun because you can do fun things with your friend and you can do different activities. When your finish we go and line up to go back to school and have lunch.

Cyclone Lusi

What is a Cyclone?

What kind of damage does a cyclone cause?

How can you get ready for a cyclone?

1. A cyclone can do lots of damage. It can take down trees and branches and it could hit some people. When the waves smack into the rocks it creates a lot of impact and splashes everywhere.

2.A cyclone can do lots of damage by hitting trees into houses. The strong  winds can push cars when they are driving across the road. It might hit something and people might get hurt.         

3. You can get ready by staying safe inside your house and storing food like water and fruit. You can secure  objects outside from flying around and hitting other stuff into your house.

Fia Fia

This year in Fia Fia I am in the Niuean group. Sometimes we learn some dance moves. We always go to our Fia Fia  group at 2 o’clock every Thursday to practice our dance moves.

Mrs Lagitupu teaches the girls how to do the Niuean dance.  Miss Lavakula teaches the boys how to do the haka and the hopo .

We always perform on the  gigantic stage. We always sit down on the ground and wait until it is our turn. When we going to perform on the gigantic stage we wait until it is our turn. When we are  performing on the gigantic stage it is a lot of fun.

Sketchup

Sketchup is a tool that allows you to create anything. It is a design programme. Students can use it to create things. You can use it on your netbook or your ipad. You can design 3D objects.

 

Sketchup is special, because you can create anything in 3D and print it out if you have a 3D printer. Sometimes  you need to use the internet to use Sketchup. Some lucky students in my class can use Sketchup on their netbook.

On Sketchup I created a car and Anthony helped me to design it.
