5 Facts that I already know about the Commonwealth Games:

1	Swimming, boxing, running, weight lifting, shooting are in the games
2	If you come first place you get a gold medal.
3	If you come second place you get a silver medal.
4	If you come third place you get a bronze  medal.
5	It is held in scotland.

1	The first Commonwealth Games took place in Hamilton, Canada in 1930.
2	There were no Games in 1942 and 1946 due to World War II.
3	Australia, Canada, England, New Zealand, Scotland and Wales have attended every Games.
4	There are 71   nations in the world that compete in different country .
5	valerie adams held the new zealand flag in the opening ceremony.
6	there are 71 countries that’s is competing  in the 11 different kind of sports.
7	usain bolt is a man who is the fastest man on earth

AFL

Intro:

We have been learning really cool skills at AFL.This happens every week on wednesday. AFL is a really cool spot. Tim, our AFL teacher has been teaching us these skills. I like AFL because I think kicking the ball is fun.

What we learn:

The skills we learnt in AFL is handball, punt kick, passing and catching. To do the hand ball you need to hold the ball flat on your left hand and  with you right  hand, hit the x on the ball.

Conclusion:

I have been really enjoying these lessons, but sadly because term 2 is over, AFL is over. I’m looking forward to the spots we will be doing next term.
