Here is my reading task from the first day in this week. This is my scores from my task which is not good. It was a game of fugitive language which is hard that little kids will not handle. The Keywords are Similes ,Metaphor,Personification ,Hyperbole or none of above.  

ANZAC Movie

This term we have been learning about the ANZAC soldiers and WW 1.  In our literacy class, we have been reading different stories about the things that happened during the war.  

My writing group decided to write a movie script to show some of the things we learnt about WW 1. We made a script first and planned it to together to make us comfortable of who's doing what. When we planned it we went down to the playground and practiced what parts we were doing.

Tamaki College

On tuesday the 28th of April the year 8s at Pt England school walk down to Tamaki College. When we arrived at Tamaki College we all went to go sit down in the hall. Then other schools started to arrived, After that one of the teachers from the college was talking to us about attending that school next year. She talk about all the things that they do at Tamaki College. Than she told us to go and get this thing with our name and our group.

Than sent us off to different classrooms. The first class we went to was science we made ice cream and I think we played this little game on our netbook. For me I think science was cool we got to make ice cream.

Then our next class was PE. For PE we play this game. I think the game we were playing was fun. I liked PE because  we did lot of funny thing. After that we went to go and have morning tea. For morning tea we had a yogurt and a juice box and when I was finish my morning tea. Then I started to talk with my friend. Then she sented us of and again.

Te Tuhi art gallery

On Tuesday class 2 went on a trip to theTe Tuhi art gallery in Pakuranga. When we got in the art gallery. This man name Jeremy he explained the rules to us. He also took us to this room with art. When we got at the art room. We had to get an aprons. Then we had to fine set with a paper in front of you. Then Jeremy show us tapa design from samoa, fiji and tonga. There was thing you had to draw about was home, culture, family and interests. On my piece of paper I draw my family, my favorite sport and that was rugby, and I draw the beach and I draw my culture flag. After drawing we Inked it I give it to Jeremy. Then we went back to sit down.Then we watch a little movie about culture, family and home.
